We are delighted to have two girls representing two franchises in the National Performance League tournaments in Nottingham over the weekend. Anya played for U21 Team Bath and Lily played for U17 Severn Stars.
| Anya Congratulations to Anya Le Monnier and Team Bath for finishing runners up in the U21 NPL Tournament. Bath beat Wasps 84-31 in the semi finals and finished second in a close final with Manchester Thunder 48-51. Anya was a key player for Team Jets and Jersey before moving to England to complete her education with a netball scholarship. We are very proud of Anya as she has shown determination, total focus and commitment to overcome injury. Anya was selected for Team Bath U21s in December and was devastated when she had a navicular stress fracture shortly after. Anya had a 7 month recovery with the first 4 months being completely non-weight bearing conditioning. Anya then began a 3 month rehab process with weekly physio sessions and pool sessions and moved back into netball just over a month before the tournament.  | Lily Congratulations to Lily Jones and U17 Severn Stars for finishing in 3rd place in the U17 National Performance League Tournament. The competition has been running for the last four days at the University of Nottingham. Stars finished 2nd in their group and lost out to Surrey Storm in the semi finals. Stars beat Wales 40-25 and ended up with a bronze medal. Being selected into a top 3 U17 squad in the UK is great motivation for Lily and she still has two seasons in this age group. Lily is a great example of talent, hard work, commitment, making sacrifices and a positive attitude. Well done Lily!
