Jersey's Serena Guthrie has been named as England captain for this summer's Netball World Cup in Liverpool. She has represented England since 2008.
The Team Bath star heads-up a 12-strong Roses squad for the tournament, which takes place from 12-21 July.
Guthrie first took on the role last year, filling in for regular skipper Ama Agbeze, but has now been chosen to lead England in their first home World Cup since 1995.
Since leaving Jersey to join Bath as a teenager, Guthrie has grown into one of the world's best players, and a leading star in her position.
The 29-year-old has 90 caps to her name and helped the Roses win an historic first Commonwealth gold in Australia in 2018.
England finished third in the last two World Cups, in 2011 and 2015, and achieved their best result in 1975 when they were runners-up.
