The Sheila Le Var tournament, now in it's 21st year, took place across two evenings at Les Ormes, finishing tonight. 

This fun tournament is open to all netball players regardless of whether they are currently taking part in the Saltgate Winter League.  To balance the differing ability levels in this tournament which range from Back to Netball to Team Jets, teams with players who are registered for the top 4 teams of the Division 1 table are given a 2 goal handicap per on court player registered in those teams.

The deciding game between St Lawrence and St Martin was goal for goal throughout finishing with a 9 goal draw which left it down to the handicap points deciding St Lawrence as the new champions. This is the first time that St Lawrence have won the trophy!

It was then down to some quick calculations on goal difference, as St Martin and Grouville were tied on points, to decide the final results:

Unfortunately there were not enough participants this year to field teams representing St Mary and Trinity.
